張志賢說:“這些人移民的原因各不相同,有的,是因為要結婚、有的,是要和住在國外的家人團聚、有的,是要換一個新的生活環境。”

他強調,那些擁有政府組屋的公民或永久居民,一旦決定放棄國籍或永久居民資格,就必須賣掉新加坡組屋,這個規定是不能破例的。
