Dear sihong,
Labor has always been the party of progress, a party that firmly believes that our nation’s best days are in front of it. A party, that as Ben Chifley eloquently put it so many years ago, will always strive for the light on the hill.
Making a difference is what Labor Government’s aim do. Sometimes that’s big bold ideas for our country’s future like building the National Broadband Network, or pricing pollution to create a clean energy economy. Other times it’s the little changes, like uncapping disability employment services to give more people with a disability access to employment services that can make the biggest difference.
As Labor members & supporters we should be proud of these achievements. So we have put together a small booklet that highlights just some of the things Labor has done to help make a difference.

At the heart of our Labor values is the goal that every Australian will have the opportunity to prosper and succeed in life, and that is why this Labor Government is working hard to build a strong economy and a fair society.
Thanks to the decisive action taken by the Labor Government during the Global Financial Crisis 200,000 Australian jobs were saved, our economy remains strong and is now the envy of the world.
With a strong economy we can invest in schools, hospitals and other services Australians rely on, and we can ensure that no one is left is behind.
The pursuit of our goals has never been easy, our aspirations are great. Please download a copy of the Making a Difference booklet to see the progress we are making.
