sihong,

Just a quick note to let you know there’s a handful of days left to make a submission as part of the 2011 Platform Review.

Submissions close Friday August 5th.

If you haven’t made a submission yet, now is the time.

The National Policy Committee has held forums across the country. We’ve been overwhelmed with the enthusiasm from party members and supporters who are keen to contribute to Labor’s governing document, our National Platform.

Together we will produce a platform that reflects Labor’s core values in a modern context.

Don’t miss your chance to contribute to the 2011 Platform Review.

Yours sincerely,

Gai Brodtmann MP
Chair, National Policy Committee(主席,國家政策委員會)

Party members and supporters are invited to make a formal submission outlining their policy suggestion to be considered by the National Policy Committee.

Your submission should be no more than 700 words and discuss a particular topic. Make a submission here.

At the last National Conference the Party resolved to expand opportunities for Party Members and general supporters to contribute to policy debate within the Labor Party through a special class of online supporter membership.

We are very pleased that during this round of consultations you we will be able to do just that. Members and Supporters can participate in various Labor ThinkTanks addressing each chapter of the National Platform. Get involved in the NPC ThinkTanks here.
