蓖麻的用途
蓖麻,浑身都是宝，特别是:蓖麻油有多种经济用途。一般每2.2-2.5公斤蓖麻籽,可出1公斤油，是其它油料作物所不能及的。蓖麻油具有粘度大、燃烧点高（在500－600℃高温下不变质、不燃烧）、凝固点低（零下18℃的低温下不凝固）、比重大等特点，成为提取蓖麻油酸的唯一原料。从石油中得到的系列产品，多数都可从蓖麻油酸深加工中获取，蓖麻被视为可再生的“石油”资源。
发达国家已利用蓖麻油生成的衍生物,有170种以上，系列产品,达3000多项。目前，尚无可替代蓖麻油的原料。
蓖麻油的酸价低，不易氧化，是制造供飞机发动机，火车和高速车床等使用的高级润滑油的最好原料之一，可以作为制造橡胶的代用品和人造树脂，假象牙、高级香皂、化妆香油、生发油、染织用油、制革用油、绘图原料等的原料，脱水后,可以制成绝缘油漆。它是不干性油，经久不干，是做圆球笔芯，复写纸，打印油的主要原料。
将蓖麻油裂化成为癸二酸，用癸二酸,再制成尼龙或其它塑料，用途很广，发展前景更大。
用蓖麻油生产尼龙，可做飞机的绝缘材料，降落伞等。用它可制成尼龙布、尼龙丝袜、鱼网线、牙刷丝等，轻便,耐磨
制成无线电元件，能代替有色金属材料，具有耐酸碱、耐磨损、消音、消震等特点。制成的塑料薄膜、雨衣、雨鞋等，轻便,柔软,耐穿,抗裂。
重要的化工产品
蓖麻油加工业和应用的开发研究，95％以上的蓖麻油,用于生产精细化工产品，主要有以下系列化工产品。
癸二酸系列产品
包括,癸二酸、癸二二醇酯、癸二酸酯、聚癸二酸丙二醇酯。它们分别用作橡胶和塑料工业的增塑剂，制造工程塑料，用作光稳定剂和辅助增塑剂。
十一烯酸系列产品
蓖麻油与甲醇反应,生成蓖麻油酸甲酯，再经裂解、酸化制得十一烯酸，多用于制造香精和医药。由其制成的尼龙11,是优良的合成材料。
庚醛系列产品
蓖麻油与甲醇反应，生成的蓖麻酸甲酯，经裂化,再与硫酸氢钠反应，经真空蒸馏,得王庚醛，其为无色,挥发性油状液体，有果香味。其系列产品,广泛应用于香料、化妆品、高级香皂等制造。
己酸系列产品
蓖麻油水解、裂解得仲辛醇，再氧化制己酸，其系列产品,广泛用于制造香精、医药、高效农药和食品调味品等。
壬二酸系列产品
用硝酸氧化蓖麻油而得，用于配制香料、香精、可用作增塑剂，其耐寒、耐热性能优良。
蓖麻酸酰胺系列产品
由蓖麻酸与氨气作用制得，为淡黄色粒状物，在塑料注塑成型时,用作脱模剂。
蓖麻酸盐系列产品
由蓖麻酸与金属的氧化物或金属盐反应而制得。其主要系列产品,有蓖麻酸钙、蓖麻酸镁、蓖麻酸镉等，一般是白色或浅色粉末，常用于pvc，作稳定剂或润滑剂。
其它加工利用
失水蓖麻油
蓖麻油脱水后,即成优良的干性油，是快干和防水清漆、磁漆中的材料，也可用在油布、油毡、皮革、油漆、油墨等。
磺花蓖麻油
由蓖麻油与硫酸反应生成蓖麻硫酸酯，主要用于染色助剂、纤维加工油剂、渗透剂、玻璃纤维媒染剂、润滑剂、浮化剂、餐洗剂、平滑剂、抛光剂及化妆品等。
甘油单蓖麻醇酸酯
可作为内加型防雾剂，适用于食品包装薄膜。
甘油三羟基硬酸酯
蓖麻油加氢制得，可作为ＰＶＣ、ＡＢＳ 树脂、ＭＢＳ树脂的润滑剂和爽滑剂，具有优良的耐热性和流动性，也作为合成橡胶的脱模剂，其无毒，用于食品包装材料。
生态环境用途
蓖麻根系发达,可保持水土流失：种植蓖麻,可改善生态环境。蓖麻叶能吸收空气中的CO2、汽车排放的NOX等有害气体。它可将 Cu、Pb、As等积蓄于根部，消除污染源，净化周边环境。蓖麻具有发达的根系，它粗而长的直根上,生长出3-7条的侧根，直根和侧根上,长出很多的支根，并产生若干的,带有根毛的小根，形成网壮根系。蓖麻的直根,深入土层2-4米，侧根,向周围延伸1-2.5米。蓖麻叶片较大,一般直径为30-50厘米，可吸收大量的二氧化碳， 是净化环境理想的植物。
医药用途
蓖麻毒素具有一些潜在的医療用途，如,骨髓移植、癌症治療（殺死癌细胞）与避孕药物。蓖麻是一种药用泻剂，也可用于风湿关节痛，破伤风，癫痫，精神分裂症和止痛镇静。
其他综合用途
蓖麻叶可以用来养蚕；蓖麻秆是制绳索、造纸和加工中密度板的好原料，还可用氧化锌法生产活性炭。蓖麻籽壳是的制作胶板、照相软片、电木等原料。蓖麻饼粕中,富含蛋白质，脱毒后,是优质的高蛋白饲料。蓖麻在制油过程中，油和饼的比例为1：1。化验分析表明，蓖麻榨油的饼渣,含蛋白质35％左右，其所含蛋白质与大豆、花生蛋白质相似，是畜禽的优质蛋白饲料。
蓖麻油饼含有毒素，需脱毒后,才能作饲料。蓖麻饼中,含（Ｎ）5.09％，磷（Ｐ2Ｏ5 ）1.01％，钾（Ｋ2Ｏ）2.53％，是良好的有机肥料。
日本己利用蓖麻饼,研制出适合烟草、人参、果树、水稻等专用复合肥，使用效果良好。
蓖麻籽市场前景
随着石油资源的日渐减少，寻找替代能源,已成为世界各国亟待解决的课题。蓖麻,属可再生资源，从石油中得到的系列产品,多数可以从蓖麻油深加工中获得。蓖麻油被有关专家视为-很有开发潜力,又可再生的“石油”资源。因此，推广种植蓖麻，是一种具有战略意义的选择。蓖麻是世界十大油料作物之一，也是重要的工业原料。利用蓖麻油生成的化学衍生物,有170种以上，係列產品,達3000多項，具有特殊用途和很高价值。
美国将蓖麻油列为八大战略物资之一；
法国将用蓖麻油-生产尼龙11树脂技术列为国家一级机密。
蓖麻油及其深加工产品,如尼龙11树脂、12－羟基硬脂酸等,广泛应用于医药、航天、航空、军事、通讯、机械制造、精细化工等高新技术领域。
世界蓖麻油的主要进口国,是工业发达国家，如,法国、美国、德国、英国、荷兰等五国,占年耗量的61%。
蓖麻的主要产地,为:印尼,印度、中国、巴西、莫桑比克、埃塞俄比亚、巴拉圭、泰国、巴基斯坦、越南等国。
世界蓖麻籽总产量,超过155万吨。其中,印度占69%；中国占14%；巴西占 7%。印度、中国、巴西三国,蓖麻籽合计,占世界总量的90%。
国,内外蓖麻市场调查显示，从1999年,至今，连续多年,蓖麻缺口逐年加大，需求量,连年增加，价格,连年上涨，成为市场上的抢手俏货。
全球,2015年,对蓖麻油的需求量,将达到100万吨，折合蓖麻籽为240万吨。
全球蓖麻油总产量,仅60万吨左右，缺口极大。目前，尚无可替代蓖麻油的原料。
地下石油、天然气资源,在逐渐减少，交通、生活用油、气量急剧增加。因此，蓖麻油的需求量,将呈急剧上升之势。引发了国际市场蓖麻油价格成倍增长。
目前，国际市场,蓖麻油价格为 1100－1300美元／吨左右。若能够进入系列产品深加工，其价值将成倍增长。

中国现有大、中型蓖麻油加工企业近二十家，其中,年加工万吨以上者8家。受蓖麻原材料供应短缺的困扰，多数企业处于停产或半停产状态，很多企业从印度,进口大量蓖麻籽,做原料。所以，种植蓖麻不存在销售难的问题，大力发展蓖麻种植,势在必行。
同粮食作物相比，种植蓖麻省工、省力、投入少、效益高。此外，蓖麻适应性强，耐瘠抗病，田间地头、房前屋后均可种植，且种植技术简单、容易掌握。
目前，马来西亚,印度尼西亚,菲律宾,越南,泰国等地,在蓖麻种植行业,其他东南亚国家，这里,缺乏蓖麻种植开发企业和加工炼油厂。
马来西亚等地的地理和气候环境,非常适合种植蓖麻，相信马来西亚等地蓖麻种植的未来前景优势无可限量。对于经济、生态和农业的发展,前景非常广阔。
高产栽培技术
同粮食作物相比，种植蓖麻,省工、省力、投入少、效益高。3个月-120天,就可收获。蓖麻适应性强，耐瘠抗病，田间,地头、房前,屋后,均可种植，种植技术简单、容易掌握。蓖麻种植效益高。
在马来西亚，以高产栽培技术,加上杂交蓖麻品种,年产量可达:每1英亩,收获10吨蓖麻籽。
高产栽培技术:
1. 选地
蓖麻是耐瘠薄、适应性强,和耕作较为粗放的作物，要获得高产，就必须为其生长,创造土层深厚、质地疏松、酸碱适度,和有机质丰富的土壤条件。高产田要求,耕层深度20cm的淡黑钙土、栗钙土、壤质草甸土等,中等地块。通透条件差的粘重土壤、盐碱地、低洼易涝地,不宜种植，肥力过高的沿河冲积土、黑钙土等,使蓖麻贪杆疯长，贪青晚熟，产量不高。
2. 整地、施肥
整地：有条件的,要对土地,进行翻土及覆盖，以利于保墑，深翻,可增加活土层，疏松土壤，有利于土壤缓效释放养分，减轻病、虫、害的发生。
施肥：底肥,主要以氮磷复合肥为主。如有条件,应施用农家肥，让细土与鸡粪拌匀。
追肥：追肥,应以尿素为主。追肥的最佳时期,为主穗现蕾后。
3. 种子处理与播种
品种选择：杂交蓖麻,具有无限生长、顶芽成穗，分枝力强，营养生长与生殖生长,并存期长，抗旱,怕涝,五大特点。品种选择的主要目标,是最大限度的收获成熟果穗，提高单株产量。种子,要精选，选择新鲜、籽粒饱满、大小、色泽、斑纹一致的种子。播种方法,可因地制宜的选用抢墑播种,或播前,刨坐水种。蓖麻的种植密度,要根据品种特性、栽培方式和环境、土壤肥力等情况来决定。原则是:薄地宜密、肥地宜稀；矮杆品种宜密，高杆品种宜稀。播种期蓖麻的最佳播种期,应是地表以下20厘米处。杂交蓖麻单株生产潜力大（1000克/株）,喜光照，适当降底密度,有利于通风透光，促大穗。每英亩,可播种大约4000株。如,播种前,降雨明显不足,应进行灌溉。
4. 田间管理
播种后,要用时,查田,补苗，如发现缺苗,要及早进行补种。幼苗期,应严格控制杂草。在蓖麻的生育期间,应中耕2～3次，最后一次中耕,应在封垄前进行，以免损伤茎叶。蓖麻的水分临界期,在主茎花蕾开花前和开花期，此时,植株生长快，若水分充足，增产效果极为显著。蓖麻生长期,易发生的病害,主要有：疫病、细菌性叶斑等。蓖麻的主要害虫,有小地老虎、草地蟆、棉铃虫、刺蜱和夜蛾等。
5. 收获
从播种,到收获,大约只需90,到160天。收获蓖麻,果实成熟时，果穗上的蒴果,大部分呈褐色或黄褐色。当果穗上80％的蒴果出现裂口时，应及时剪下果穗，最好,分2～3次进行收获。采收后的蒴果,放置在蔽荫处,风干2～3天，促进后熟，或直接去晾晒场摊晒，充分干燥后,进行脱粒，然后,去除杂物，最后,再进行晾晒，使水分,降至7％，不要曝晒蓖麻籽，以免降低油分。

法國將用蓖麻油-生產尼龍11樹脂技術列為國家一級機密。
蓖麻油及其深加工產品,如尼龍11樹脂、12－羥基硬脂酸等,廣泛應用於醫藥、航天、航空、軍事、通訊、機械製造、精細化工等高新技術領域。
世界蓖麻油的主要進口國,是工業發達國家，如,法國、美國、德國、英國、荷蘭等五國,佔年耗量的61%。
蓖麻的主要產地,為:印尼,印度、中國、巴西、莫桑比克、埃塞俄比亞、巴拉圭、泰國、巴基斯坦、越南等國。
世界蓖麻籽總產量,超過155萬噸。其中,印度佔69%；中國占14%；巴西佔7%。印度、中國、巴西三國,蓖麻籽合計,佔世界總量的90%。
國,內外蓖麻市場調查顯示，從1999年,至今，連續多年,蓖麻缺口逐年加大，需求量,連年增加，價格,連年上漲，成為市場上的搶手俏貨。
全球,2015年,對蓖麻油的需求量,將達到100萬噸，折合蓖麻籽為240萬噸。
全球蓖麻油總產量,僅60萬噸左右，缺口極大。目前，尚無可替代蓖麻油的原料。
地下石油、天然氣資源,在逐漸減少，交通、生活用油、氣量急劇增加。因此，蓖麻油的需求量,將呈急劇上升之勢。引發了國際市場蓖麻油價格成倍增長。
目前，國際市場,蓖麻油價格為1100－1300美元／噸左右。若能夠進入系列產品深加工，其價值將成倍增長。

中國現有大、中型蓖麻油加工企業近二十家，其中,年加工萬噸以上者8家。受蓖麻原材料供應短缺的困擾，多數企業處於停產或半停產狀態，很多企業從印度,進口大量蓖麻籽,做原料。所以，種植蓖麻不存在銷售難的問題，大力發展蓖麻種植,勢在必行。
同糧食作物相比，種植蓖麻省工、省力、投入少、效益高。此外，蓖麻適應性強，耐瘠抗病，田間地頭、房前屋後均可種植，且種植技術簡單、容易掌握。
目前，馬來西亞,印度尼西亞,菲律賓,越南,泰國等地,在蓖麻種植行業,其他東南亞國家，這裡,缺乏蓖麻種植開發企業和加工煉油廠。
馬來西亞等地的地理和氣候環境,非常適合種植蓖麻，相信馬來西亞等地蓖麻種植的未來前景優勢無可限量。對於經濟、生態和農業的發展,前景非常廣闊。
高產栽培技術
同糧食作物相比，種植蓖麻,省工、省力、投入少、效益高。 3個月-120天,就可收穫。蓖麻適應性強，耐瘠抗病，田間,地頭、房前,屋後,均可種植，種植技術簡單、容易掌握。蓖麻種植效益高。
在馬來西亞，以高產栽培技術,加上雜交蓖麻品種,年產量可達:每1英畝,收穫10噸蓖麻籽。
高產栽培技術:
1. 選地
蓖麻是耐瘠薄、適應性強,和耕作較為粗放的作物，要獲得高產，就必須為其生長,創造土層深厚、質地疏鬆、酸鹼適度,和有機質豐富的土壤條件。高產田要求,耕層深度20cm的淡黑鈣土、栗鈣土、壤質草甸土等,中等地塊。通透條件差的粘重土壤、鹽鹼地、低窪易澇地,不宜種植，肥力過高的沿河沖積土、黑鈣土等,使蓖麻貪桿瘋長，貪青晚熟，產量不高。
2. 整地、施肥
整地：有條件的,要對土地,進行翻土及覆蓋，以利於保墑，深翻,可增加活土層，疏鬆土壤，有利於土壤緩效釋放養分，減輕病、蟲、害的發生。
施肥：底肥,主要以氮磷複合肥為主。如有條件,應施用農家肥，讓細土與雞糞拌勻。
追肥：追肥,應以尿素為主。追肥的最佳時期,為主穗現蕾後。
3. 種子處理與播種
品種選擇：雜交蓖麻,具有無限生長、頂芽成穗，分枝力強，營養生長與生殖生長,並存期長，抗旱,怕澇,五大特點。品種選擇的主要目標,是最大限度的收穫成熟果穗，提高單株產量。種子,要精選，選擇新鮮、籽粒飽滿、大小、色澤、斑紋一致的種子。播種方法,可因地制宜的選用搶墑播種,或播前,刨坐水種。蓖麻的種植密度,要根據品種特性、栽培方式和環境、土壤肥力等情況來決定。原則是:薄地宜密、肥地宜稀；矮桿品種宜密，高桿品種宜稀。播種期蓖麻的最佳播種期,應是地表以下20厘米處。雜交蓖麻單株生產潛力大（1000克/株）,喜光照，適當降底密度,有利於通風透光，促大穗。每英畝,可播種大約4000株。如,播種前,降雨明顯不足,應進行灌溉。
4. 田間管理
播種後,要用時,查田,補苗，如發現缺苗,要及早進行補種。幼苗期,應嚴格控制雜草。在蓖麻的生育期間,應中耕2～3次，最後一次中耕,應在封壟前進行，以免損傷莖葉。蓖麻的水分臨界期,在主莖花蕾開花前和開花期，此時,植株生長快，若水分充足，增產效果極為顯著。蓖麻生長期,易發生的病害,主要有：疫病、細菌性葉斑等。蓖麻的主要害蟲,有小地老虎、草地蟆、棉鈴蟲、刺蜱和夜蛾等。
5. 收穫
從播種,到收穫,大約只需90,到160天。收穫蓖麻,果實成熟時，果穗上的蒴果,大部分呈褐色或黃褐色。當果穗上80％的蒴果出現裂口時，應及時剪下果穗，最好,分2～3次進行收穫。採收後的蒴果,放置在蔽蔭處,風乾2～3天，促進後熟，或直接去晾曬場攤曬，充分乾燥後,進行脫粒，然後,去除雜物，最後,再進行晾曬，使水分,降至7％，不要曝曬蓖麻籽，以免降低油分。

蓖麻,浑身都是宝，特别是:蓖麻油有多种经济用途。一般每2.2-2.5公斤蓖麻籽,可出1公斤油，是其它油料作物所不能及的。蓖麻油具有粘度大、燃烧点高（在500－600℃高温下不变质、不燃烧）、凝固点低（零下18℃的低温下不凝固）、比重大等特点，成为提取蓖麻油酸的唯一原料。从石油中得到的系列产品，多数都可从蓖麻油酸深加工中获取，蓖麻被视为可再生的“石油”资源。
发达国家已利用蓖麻油生成的衍生物,有170种以上，系列产品,达3000多项。目前，尚无可替代蓖麻油的原料。
蓖麻油的酸价低，不易氧化，是制造供飞机发动机，火车和高速车床等使用的高级润滑油的最好原料之一，可以作为制造橡胶的代用品和人造树脂，假象牙、高级香皂、化妆香油、生发油、染织用油、制革用油、绘图原料等的原料，脱水后,可以制成绝缘油漆。它是不干性油，经久不干，是做圆球笔芯，复写纸，打印油的主要原料。
将蓖麻油裂化成为癸二酸，用癸二酸,再制成尼龙或其它塑料，用途很广，发展前景更大。
用蓖麻油生产尼龙，可做飞机的绝缘材料，降落伞等。用它可制成尼龙布、尼龙丝袜、鱼网线、牙刷丝等，轻便,耐磨

癸二酸系列产品

十一烯酸系列产品

用硝酸氧化蓖麻油而得，用于配制香料、香精、可用作增塑剂，其耐寒、耐热性能优良。
蓖麻酸酰胺系列产品
由蓖麻酸与氨气作用制得，为淡黄色粒状物，在塑料注塑成型时,用作脱模剂。
蓖麻酸盐系列产品
由蓖麻酸与金属的氧化物或金属盐反应而制得。其主要系列产品,有蓖麻酸钙、蓖麻酸镁、蓖麻酸镉等，一般是白色或浅色粉末，常用于pvc，作稳定剂或润滑剂。
其它加工利用
失水蓖麻油
蓖麻油脱水后,即成优良的干性油，是快干和防水清漆、磁漆中的材料，也可用在油布、油毡、皮革、油漆、油墨等。
磺花蓖麻油
由蓖麻油与硫酸反应生成蓖麻硫酸酯，主要用于染色助剂、纤维加工油剂、渗透剂、玻璃纤维媒染剂、润滑剂、浮化剂、餐洗剂、平滑剂、抛光剂及化妆品等。
甘油单蓖麻醇酸酯
可作为内加型防雾剂，适用于食品包装薄膜。
甘油三羟基硬酸酯
蓖麻油加氢制得，可作为ＰＶＣ、ＡＢＳ 树脂、ＭＢＳ树脂的润滑剂和爽滑剂，具有优良的耐热性和流动性，也作为合成橡胶的脱模剂，其无毒，用于食品包装材料。
生态环境用途
蓖麻根系发达,可保持水土流失：种植蓖麻,可改善生态环境。蓖麻叶能吸收空气中的CO2、汽车排放的NOX等有害气体。它可将 Cu、Pb、As等积蓄于根部，消除污染源，净化周边环境。蓖麻具有发达的根系，它粗而长的直根上,生长出3-7条的侧根，直根和侧根上,长出很多的支根，并产生若干的,带有根毛的小根，形成网壮根系。蓖麻的直根,深入土层2-4米，侧根,向周围延伸1-2.5米。蓖麻叶片较大,一般直径为30-50厘米，可吸收大量的二氧化碳， 是净化环境理想的植物。
医药用途
蓖麻毒素具有一些潜在的医療用途，如,骨髓移植、癌症治療（殺死癌细胞）与避孕药物。蓖麻是一种药用泻剂，也可用于风湿关节痛，破伤风，癫痫，精神分裂症和止痛镇静。
其他综合用途
蓖麻叶可以用来养蚕；蓖麻秆是制绳索、造纸和加工中密度板的好原料，还可用氧化锌法生产活性炭。蓖麻籽壳是的制作胶板、照相软片、电木等原料。蓖麻饼粕中,富含蛋白质，脱毒后,是优质的高蛋白饲料。蓖麻在制油过程中，油和饼的比例为1：1。化验分析表明，蓖麻榨油的饼渣,含蛋白质35％左右，其所含蛋白质与大豆、花生蛋白质相似，是畜禽的优质蛋白饲料。

高产栽培技术
同粮食作物相比，种植蓖麻,省工、省力、投入少、效益高。3个月-120天,就可收获。蓖麻适应性强，耐瘠抗病，田间,地头、房前,屋后,均可种植，种植技术简单、容易掌握。蓖麻种植效益高。
在马来西亚，以高产栽培技术,加上杂交蓖麻品种,年产量可达:每1英亩,收获10吨蓖麻籽。
高产栽培技术:
1. 选地
蓖麻是耐瘠薄、适应性强,和耕作较为粗放的作物，要获得高产，就必须为其生长,创造土层深厚、质地疏松、酸碱适度,和有机质丰富的土壤条件。高产田要求,耕层深度20cm的淡黑钙土、栗钙土、壤质草甸土等,中等地块。通透条件差的粘重土壤、盐碱地、低洼易涝地,不宜种植，肥力过高的沿河冲积土、黑钙土等,使蓖麻贪杆疯长，贪青晚熟，产量不高。
2. 整地、施肥
整地：有条件的,要对土地,进行翻土及覆盖，以利于保墑，深翻,可增加活土层，疏松土壤，有利于土壤缓效释放养分，减轻病、虫、害的发生。
施肥：底肥,主要以氮磷复合肥为主。如有条件,应施用农家肥，让细土与鸡粪拌匀。
追肥：追肥,应以尿素为主。追肥的最佳时期,为主穗现蕾后。
3. 种子处理与播种
品种选择：杂交蓖麻,具有无限生长、顶芽成穗，分枝力强，营养生长与生殖生长,并存期长，抗旱,怕涝,五大特点。品种选择的主要目标,是最大限度的收获成熟果穗，提高单株产量。种子,要精选，选择新鲜、籽粒饱满、大小、色泽、斑纹一致的种子。播种方法,可因地制宜的选用抢墑播种,或播前,刨坐水种。蓖麻的种植密度,要根据品种特性、栽培方式和环境、土壤肥力等情况来决定。原则是:薄地宜密、肥地宜稀；矮杆品种宜密，高杆品种宜稀。播种期蓖麻的最佳播种期,应是地表以下20厘米处。杂交蓖麻单株生产潜力大（1000克/株）,喜光照，适当降底密度,有利于通风透光，促大穗。每英亩,可播种大约4000株。如,播种前,降雨明显不足,应进行灌溉。
4. 田间管理
播种后,要用时,查田,补苗，如发现缺苗,要及早进行补种。幼苗期,应严格控制杂草。在蓖麻的生育期间,应中耕2～3次，最后一次中耕,应在封垄前进行，以免损伤茎叶。蓖麻的水分临界期,在主茎花蕾开花前和开花期，此时,植株生长快，若水分充足，增产效果极为显著。蓖麻生长期,易发生的病害,主要有：疫病、细菌性叶斑等。蓖麻的主要害虫,有小地老虎、草地蟆、棉铃虫、刺蜱和夜蛾等。
5. 收获
从播种,到收获,大约只需90,到160天。收获蓖麻,果实成熟时，果穗上的蒴果,大部分呈褐色或黄褐色。当果穗上80％的蒴果出现裂口时，应及时剪下果穗，最好,分2～3次进行收获。采收后的蒴果,放置在蔽荫处,风干2～3天，促进后熟，或直接去晾晒场摊晒，充分干燥后,进行脱粒，然后,去除杂物，最后,再进行晾晒，使水分,降至7％，不要曝晒蓖麻籽，以免降低油分。
