Record Japan新闻网,2月1日消息，根据全球最大的CDN服务商美国Akamai公司,1月31日公布的最新数据显示，2011年第四季度,世界平均网速同比提升了39%，达2.7Mbps，平均连接速度最快的国家或地区,是韩国，日本排在第三位。中国大陆排在第90名。
数据显示，2011年,第四季度,韩国平均网速同比增加18%，达16.7 Mbps
中国香港以10.5 Mbps（同增14%）位居第二；
日本以8.9 Mbps（同增5.8%）排在第三位；
美国同比增幅达到了23%，以6.1 Mbps位列第13名。
中国大陆以1.4Mbps的网速排在第90名,其网速同比增幅达到了43%。
2011年度全球网速峰值最高的国家或地区,为韩国，达46.8 Mbps，其次,分别是中国香港46.0 Mbps、罗马尼亚34.5 Mbps,以及日本32.9 Mbps。
在“网速低于256Kbps的慢速互联网用户比例”的比较中，印度以29%,高居亚太地区第一名。中国大陆与新西兰,并列第二，这两个地区的慢速互联网用户比例,为3.3%。
