1月9日召開的上海市建設交通工作會議上傳出信息，今年,上海將繼續完善城鄉基礎設施體系，著力轉變建設交通發展方式。全年,安排重大工程正式項目90餘項、投資約1100億元。
今年，上海將在全力保障城市運行安全、鞏固建築市場整治成效的基礎上，繼續完善城鄉基礎設施體系，加快把建設重心向郊區轉移，發揮重大工程項目的帶動作用。重點推進黃浦江兩岸、世博園區、虹橋商務區、迪士尼等重點區域的配套設施建設。加快軌道交通、高速公路、越江工程等一批重大工程建設。村莊改造、農村道路和橋樑等基礎設施建設改造,是推進新農村建設的重點。
在城市建設與管理中，繼續改善解決居住困難、出行不便、保障服務不足等民生問題。重點包括全面加快保障房建設，進一步完善居住配套，並逐步放寬准入標準，確保分配公開公平，同時充分發揮公積金作用，繼續加強房地產調控。貫徹落實房屋徵收補償新規要求，全面推進中心城舊城區重點地塊和郊區危舊房及“城中村”的改造。增強地面公交的便捷性，積極緩解居住區、醫院等高峰停車難矛盾，進一步方便市民出行。
今年,在國際航運中心建設中，將以鞏固提升上海國際航運樞紐港功能為主要目標，繼續提高水水中轉比例，大力發展海鐵聯運，積極提升航空轉運能力。
