法国总统萨科齐(NicolasSarkozy),周一(1月9日)表示，他与德国总理默克尔(AngelaMerkel)希望，欧盟(EU)能够在未来数日内,完成欧盟新条约的协商，并于3月1日,予以签署。
萨科齐在德国法国峰会后的联合新闻发布会上表示，在1月18日,与法国工会领袖就诸多就业和税收问题达成协议后，将在1月底,给出有关法国金融交易税的独立计划。
萨科齐并表示，与默克尔达成一致，要求欧洲央行(ECB)竭尽所能，让欧洲金融稳定基金(EFSF)发挥更大效果。
