2是，觀光旅館投入興建平價旅館，如，晶華酒店的捷絲旅（西門町、林森、高雄及花蓮），六福集團的六福莊。
3是，傳統產業跨足旅館業，如，旺旺集團的神旺商務旅館、神旺酒店，統一集團的谷關、關西、墾丁等；
4是，國內連鎖旅館品牌建立，如，禦宿旅館、歐悅旅館等；
5是，國際連鎖品牌進駐，如，Prince、Ｗestin、Sheraton，皆是。
