Greetings to UNITED24 donors!
To commemorate Vyshyvanka Day (vyshyvankas are traditional Ukrainian embroidered shirts) we launched a special project: 14 vyshyvankas for UNITED24 ambassadors to thank them for their constant support.
Each vyshyvanka is unique. Mark Hamill’s shirt has embroidered lightsabers, Dan has (imagine) Dragons on his, and Bear Grylls has crocodiles and jungles on a shirt. The embroidery of Catherine Vinnyk, Barbra Streisand, Liev Schreiber, and Michel Hazanavichus is based on the styles from the Ukrainian regions where their ancestors come from.
Each of these 14 vyshyvankas were made twice: one for our ambassador, and the other for you. We will raffle them among those donating to the school reconstruction in Buzova village. Donate at least $24, participate in the raffle, and choose the Vyshyvanka you like the most. Support the fundraiser, choose the vyshyvanka that you prefer, and be with Ukraine!

Chestnuts on Andriy Shevchenko’s vyshyvanka are a reminder of his home town of Kyiv.
On this embroidered shirt, which ETNODIM created for our Oscar-winning ambassador Barbra Streisand, you can see the characteristics of Ternopil Oblast — the place of the singer’s paternal grandparents.
This shirt pays tribute to Liev Schreiber’s Ukrainian roots, as his grandfather was from the south of Ukraine. ETNODIM masters created an embroidered shirt for the actor, adorned with Odesan designs from the mid-twentieth century.
Timothy Snyder’s shirt has a traditional Chernihiv region pattern.
Katheryn Winnick’s vyshyvanka features traditional elements from Halychyna, where her grandparents are from.
Dan Reynolds’s vyshyvanka is stylized with dragons.
The embroidery on Mark Hamill’s shirt is called Prometheus. The incorporated lightsabers into the design will remind everyone that the Force is always with the owner of this vyshyvanka.
On Bear Gryll’s shirt, ETNODIM artisans embroidered a crocodile, camel, jungle, and mountains — things that Grylls sees during his travels.
Ivanna Sakhno’s shirt is dedicated to Grigory Skorovoda. A quote from the outstanding philosopher has been added: «What you seek is what’s with you: it is, my friend, within you». As well as embroidered lightsabers as a symbol of the «Star Wars» saga.
Balenciaga Creative Director Demna’s vyshyvanka honors his homeland. We added St. George’s cross to the traditional pattern; St. George is considered the patron saint of Georgia.
The embroidery on Brad Paisley’s shirt is based on the work of the famous artist Oleksandr Sayenko and supplemented with a fringe, one of the key elements of country style.
The pattern on Michel Hazanavicius’ vyshyvanka is characteristic of Volyn, as the Oscar-winning director’s grandmother was from Kovel.
Dark blue, with embroidered stars, a sun and a moon — this shirt will remind Scott Kelly of two important journeys in his life — to outer space, and to Ukraine.
Oleksandr Usyk’s shirt has the same pattern as the rushnyks of Eastern Podillia, where his parents come from.
