光復西路棗陽路段的蘇州河防汛牆是老式磚牆結構，前段時間,“海葵”颱風,使得此處防汛牆有漏水現象，經過多方協調，8月22日上午，蘇州河防汛牆搶修工程,正式開始施工，據施工方上海市水電工程集團有限公司工程師介紹，工程首先要封閉施工處道路，其次,要把老的防汛牆拆除，最後,要建造新的鋼筋混凝土結構的防汛牆，整個工程耗時約5個月。
